Kade’s Four Part 2

We went to Montpelier for a family reunion and it just so happened to be on Kade’s birthday.  Before we went to the hills for the reunion we went to Grandma’s house and opened presents.  Jaxson got a few for his birthday as well.  Kade really liked Jaxson’s new truck and wanted to commandeer it.  Jaxson also got a pound puppy and a new swimming suit.

Both Kade and Jaxson got water booming things.  We haven’t taught Kade the word gun or shoot so he just says that booming things boom things.

Kade also got two transformers, Optimus Prime and Star Scream.  It is a good thing Aunt Kasandra was there to show mom and dad how to transform them.  She has had some practice and it still took hours of practice and a internet tutorial for us to figure it out.  Kade calls Optimus Prime Optimus Primary.  Too cute.

Kade also got a star light show that projects constellations on his ceiling, a fun sprinkler to run through, a new swimming suit, a wallet with $10 in it, a bunch of bubble blowing toys, and a pop up book about body systems.  He is very into blood, bones, muscles and the digestive system right now.  Dad gave him a digital camera thinking that he might use his own and leave dad’s alone (so far that hasn’t happened).  He also got a new stop light piece for his Thomas train tracks.  After presents we went up the mountain for the reunion and had cake.

He was completely scared of Uncle Paul who is the epitome of a cowboy.  Every time we tried to get him to say hi he would hide behind us.  He was fine with everyone else but Uncle Paul was too scary.  After we sang Uncle Paul came and gave Kade a $10 bill.  Kade thought that was pretty cool and actually gave him a big smile and told him thank you without hiding.
