First Day of Kindergarten

I haven’t been sad that today is Kade’s first day of Kindergarten.  Well I wasn’t until I pulled up this picture of his first day of preschool last year.  He looks so young compared to the pictures I took this morning.  Now I feel a little sad.  

He is so used to mom and the camera he is turning in to quite the poser. 

I decided to let him ride the bus home because the neighbor girls said they would watch out for him.

  While Kade was at school I made him his favorite treat (besides cookies of course) zucchini bread to eat when he got home.  We are sharing the table with the caterpillars.  Kade’s teacher gave him that little caterpillar house to take one to school in.  I asked him what he did at school and he said he drew his apple right so he got to go play toys.  He said he chose to play a silly face bowling game. Here is the picture he brought home.  He said that his teacher told him to write his name three times.

These were my favorite parts.  He said this was him riding his tricycle.

This is a scary sun.  What a kid.

Jaxson had to get in on the action.  I had a hard time keeping him out of Kade’s pictures and he had to take Kade’s old backpack to drop him off at school.
