This is what happens when we drive in Grandma and Grandpa’s car. Instead of sleeping Jaxson watches movies so by the end of the day he looks like this. Barely holding on to consciousness but still trying to watch the movie.
When you close up and ignore his yucky nose you can see how swollen his gums because his molars are coming in.
Some of Jaxson’s favorite words and phrases to use are, there it is, look, what’s this, where’d it go, yes please, all done, uh oh, ready go, frog, fish, and balloon. I’ve been working on teaching him his letters. He can say O and S. He finds them on signs and in books. Even though he can’t say all the letters yet he does know most of them. If I lay out three letters and tell him to pick out a certain one he gets almost all of them right. We practice by playing with the letters that you can buy for the bath tub. He picks it up and I tell him what it is. We do this over and over and over. It is the same way Kade learned his letters. He also loves to watch Super Why and can pick out the letters on the TV while he watches. I made him a version of the alphabet book I made for Kade and we read it again and again.
Jaxson is a little monkey. Here is his latest. I guess it’s incentive to keep the dishes done.
