Jaxson’s New Room

Grandpa has decided that I need to be banned from the internet.  I found some pictures of what is called board and batten on some blogs I like and decided to finally decorate Jaxson’s bedroom.  Of course that means Grandpa’s help.  Kade and Jaxson had to help as well.

      Jaxson was the most helpful.  His best contribution was pouring liquid nails on his fabric chair.  We scrubbed and scrubbed but it wouldn’t come off.  He had to leave his mark I guess.

 

We put metal behind these boards to make a magnet board.  The green tape is still on the top because I put it behind the boards and couldn’t get it off.  I am planning on hanging some scrapbook paper on the metal and making some magnets but as I was working on that today I put up the paper and went to put a magnet on it to make sure I liked it before I taped it on.  Apparently the flashing we used isn’t metal because the magnets sure wouldn’t stick.  Now I’m gonna have to get creative.Thanks Grandpa we love it!!  Kade asked me when we are gonna put some squares in his room.
