For Christmas Eve we went to Provo to go bowling with Jason, Shawndell, Ty, Clay, and Kody. Kris and I are very competitive when it comes to games and Kris is a very bad sport. I won the first game and we decided to bet on the second one. We can never decide on what to bet on so we decided the next time either of us wants something or doesn’t want to do something we can pull out the I won at bowling card. I wasn’t doing to good that game but Kris started to yell out things right before I let go of the ball. As I was walking back from my turn I grabbed his ball and rolled it towards his pins. He jumped up and dived for it and barely caught it after it had rolled a little ways down the lane. I won by one point but one of his other turns I rolled his ball while he was on the other lane helping Kade and I made it a gutter ball so he says it didn’t count and he wasn’t too happy that I won. Before you feel to sorry for him you need to know he yelled out stuff on almost every ball I rolled including telling me that Kade was behind me and I was gonna hit him. We took the camera bag minus the camera so we didn’t get any pictures except one on our phone at Jason’s house. They have 2 ferrets and Kade was enthralled by them. He sat still for about 1/2 hour just holding them. He held them until they wouldn’t be held anymore.
After we had some lunch we went to Trevor, Jenn, Andruw, and Caitlynn’s house to make monster cookies for Santa and play Disney Scene It.
Every present Kade got he would say, “What is in there?”
Jaxson is trying to learn how to sit up. If he is laying down or in his bouncer or even in his car seat he constantly has his head lifted up like he is trying to sit up. When we put him behind his new toy he was pretty wobbly but in only about 5 days he has become a sitting pro. He sits just fine now but when he reaches to far for stuff he falls over.
Kade got a remote control dinosaur called Spike. Every time we went to Target he would want to go and see it but he would have to watch it from across the isle. He would have dad go push the button. He was a little scared of it but now he loves it. He won’t go turn it on though he has to use the remote from a safe distance. Today he asked me to turn it on and I told him to and he said, “No it is too scary for me.” Jaxson loves it he isn’t scared at all. We brought the dogs in to torture them with it and they didn’t pay attention to it at all.
In Jaxson’s stocking he got one of those binkie like things that have the net on it that you can put food in. We put pudding with pineapple chunks in it and he was in heaven. We filled it up three times and he cried each time we took it to fill it.
The dogs had a great Christmas eating the ham bone.
