Oh The Drama!

I finally could take the hair no longer.  It was hanging down past his ears and was constantly in his eyes so we prepared ourselves for the embarrassment and went to Cookie Cutters.   I decided to take pictures this time just in case any one thought I was exaggerating.

You may ask yourselves why do they spend the extra money to go to Cookie Cutters when the toys, the movies, the fun seats and the slide do nothing to keep him calm.  Well I will tell you.  Once you get the kicking legs and arching back in the car chair, they have seat belts to tie the little monster down.  And because his legs are inside the car that is two less appendages that have to be held down.

The poor stylist tried to use the scissors first but he was just not holding still enough so we had to use the electric clippers.  Kris had to hold his head and I had to hold his arms.  

He doesn’t have a cape on because he freaks out over that as well but we should have used one because this time he was freaking out over the hair on his arms and in his lap.  Dad had to keep getting tissues to wipe him off.  It kept getting in his mouth so he was spitting and gagging in between screams.  He also threw his head forward and hit his mouth on the car so then we got to add blood into the mix.

I tried to get video on the cell phone but the memory was full.  You just don’t get the full effect without all the screaming and yelling.

Here is the long hair compared to the final result.  He looks like a completely different kid.

There are still some long hairs in the back that I’ll have to cut while he is asleep and it’s kinda crooked and not perfect but what can you expect.
