My New Kitchen Table

How do kids know when something is new and that mom would like to keep it nice? We had an old table for years and nothing ever happened to it. Today Kade was sitting up to the table eating his french toast and I was in the living room with Jaxson. I started hearing banging noises coming from the kitchen and went in to investigate. Kade was stabbing the table with his fork. I said, "What are you doing." He looked up at me and said, "Making holes." Yep that is right there are now fork holes all over my new kitchen table we have only had for 5 days. Lucky for him when they delivered it there was a chunk missing from the base of it so they are delivering us a new one this weekend.
