Kade just decided one day that he wanted to go fishing. He’s never really been before so I asked him why he wanted to and he told me because he’d never been before. Makes sense I guess. Grandpa taught him and Jax how to cast in the backyard first.
Grandma fed them raspberries.
Then on to the reservoir.
Kade caught eight fish, Kris caught two and Kade says that Grandpa caught a half a fish. I asked him how that happened and he said that he almost got it in and then it fell off and swam away.
Kris also caught what Kade calls a lobster but really it was just a crawdad that attached himself to Kris’ salmon eggs. As soon as he was done stuffing them in his mouth he let go of the hook and dropped back in the water. 
Jaxson was most interested in the food Grandma brought along.
He also enjoyed throwing rocks in the water so Grandma had to take him away from the fishermen.
They did also go to the Pioneer Day parade in Monticello. This was Kris’ favorite float.
They made a model of the Salt Lake temple and for angel Moroni they used 3CPO. He thought it was hilarious.

Um - c3po as the angel? and it didn't get struck by lightning - I think it proves the big guys a star wars fan ;)
