- I never know what I’m going to find when I wake up from my nap on the weeks that I work. Once I woke up to spiders but a few days ago it was this . . .
The bear’s name is Teddy and Kade sleeps with it every night. Apparently little Spike needed a snack.
Then I went in his room a few days later and Toothless was being devoured.
- Kris says he let Kade dress himself but it wouldn’t surprise me if Kris picked out this lovely outfit, pockets hanging out and all.
- This is a conversation Kade and I had on the way to Salt Lake.
“Mom look at the big plane.”
“Is that where the Indians are?”
“Why in the world would there be Indians on the plane?”
“Cuz they live on the plains.”
- Kade rides in a carpool to get to Kindergarten with the girls in our neighborhood, to get home they all ride the bus together. The second Wednesday of school I was helping Kade get buckled in the car and our neighbor told me that on Wednesdays the girls had dance class and wouldn’t be riding the bus home. I told Kade he would have to ride the bus home all by himself and reminded him that it was bus #41. I was pretty nervous about him doing it alone because it was only the fourth time he had ever done it. After school I was sitting on the couch waiting for the bus and got a phone call from Kris saying that Kade had gotten on the wrong bus and they were bringing him home. I went outside to wait and had to smile when bus #14 came around the corner. The bus driver told me that he had gone back to the school and was checking all the seats when he found Kade asleep. This scared me a little because I could just imagine him getting off somewhere and being lost in Grantsville. He is now a pick up kid on Wednesdays.

Oh my gosh, that would scare me to death. At Allison's school they have a list of the Kindergarten kids and each bus they ride and the teachers walk them to and from thier bus everyday. I thought that happened everywhere. I didn't even realize that them getting on the wrong bus was a possibility. Bless his little heart, he tried to remember which bus to get on. He was so close. Good thing he never got off!!
