Sucker Bunnies

Each holiday I  like to find a craft or treat to make and for Easter we made these bunnies with a carrot patch.     DSC_0072

Kade was a big help.  He put the head on each sucker stick and after I put the hot glue on he stuck on each pom pom.  I used a Sharpie to draw on the feet and he helped with this one.  He was very upset I wouldn’t let him help draw the rest so every bunny has his name written on the bottom of it.  He even put a smile on the ones he wrote well and a sad face on the ones that he didn’t think he wrote very good.

DSC_0049 Kade made the bunnies get in line to get their bows.  He told me which colored suckers were boys and which ones were girls.  He was very upset with me when I made this brown boy bunny a girl.  He told me I got confused because the brown ones were supposed to have bow ties not hair bows.DSC_0056 DSC_0059 Jaxson loves suckers but even he found these too cute to eat.  He hopped them all over the house and even recruited them into piracy.

We took them to Kade’s friends in the neighborhood and he told them they could either eat them or just play with them.  We still haven’t eaten ours.

The full tutorial for the carrot patch is from Family Fun and the suckers are here http://www.themotherhuddle.com/easy-easter-craft-easter-bunny-suckers/
