I was telling Kade on Saturday that the Easter Bunny was going to come to our house while we were at church and hide eggs and Easter baskets for us to find. He thought about it for a minute and said, “Mom maybe I should have given the Easter Bunny a hug when we saw him at the Easter egg hunt this morning.” At church I told Jaxson to fold his arms for the prayer. He decided he was going to say it and mumbled along with the person praying. It was a long prayer and near the end he looked up at me and asked Amen??
When we got home the Easter Bunny had left the boys some eggs that had clues in them.
The clues took them all over the house until they finally found their baskets in the bath tub.
Then it was outside to find the eggs.
When the cousins got here we ate dinner that Grandma made and then decorated eggs.
Jaxson did not want to help dye eggs. He just wanted to eat all the bunny buns. The Easter Bunny brought him Super Mario Bros. pajamas and he won’t take off the Donkey Kong shirt.
The boys playing duck duck goose.
Kade was chasing Clay and decided to change directions. It caused quite the collision.
Jaxson thought it was a little too rough and kept to himself in the sand box.
Sadie thought it was a good idea to run on during the game to get some attention.
The big boys play so good with Kade. They made sure he didn’t get squished even though the pictures look like he did.
Jaxson did decide to join in for about one minute but got off pretty quick.
After all that fun Kade had to get a stash of bunny buns.

I've never heard of the Easter Bunny coming during church...that sure beats waking up early!
