When we first got to Lagoon this year we went straight to Kade’s favorite ride, the Ladybug Drop. We got on it and he immediately wanted to get off and almost started to cry. I started thinking it was going to be a very long day if Kade wasn’t going to ride any rides this year. On the first couple drops he looked scared but then he started to giggle and for the rest of the day he was up for anything. Grandma isn’t a fan of rides but she goes on a few. The difference in their faces is too funny.
Jaxson was tall enough to go on some of the bigger rides this year. He would start out all smiles. When the ride got going he would get this face.
Then when it got to the fastest part he would hide. After it was over he would be all smiles again.
This was just the little boat, we also took him on the Tidal Wave and his face was pure terror. His eyes filled up like he was going to cry and when it was over he started babbling and smiling like he thought it was fun.
The worst part about Lagoon this year was Jaxson waiting in the lines. He did not understand waiting and the closer we got to the ride the harder he would cry. I’m sure everyone thought we were horrible making a crying kid go on rides but as soon as he actually got in the ride he loved every one of them.
Jaxson’s favorite was of course the train.
Jaxson also loved this whale ride. It was faster than the others and he could get off and get right back on because there was only a small line. One of the times he ran back around to get on he knocked over a few kids and pushed a few more to get to the front of the line. Sigh
This is the car ride home and is the difference between Jaxson taking two naps in the stroller and Kade not taking any.
