Letter From Kade

Kade and Jaxson are staying at Grandma and Grandpa Atkinson's house. Here's the email we got from Kade (with help from Grandma of course),

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is a rainy Saturday today. We went to Heavenly Father's house this morning. Grandpa and Grandma cleaned the church while Jaxson and I played with the toys in the Nursery. We came home and while Grandma cooked M&M waffles, Grandpa played Jaxson's matching birthday game. We sure have fun playing it. Grandpa plays it different than Grandma does. Grandma is orderly when we play and we each take a turn. Grandpa just mixes everything up and we are all on our own to make the matches. We have played it so much we lost the bottom half of the pig. Hopefully Grandma will find it when she cleans.

Since it is rainy, Grandma is making Bunny Buns for Jaxson and me. They are cooking right now. Grandpa has been working hard in the garage just for me. He has helped me build some really neat Thomas tracks, but we always need one or two more different track pieces. Grandpa went out in the garage today and he made me two track pieces.....just the exact pieces that I needed to complete my track!!! Wow, Grandpa can do just about anything. Right now he is fixing Grandma's hook behind the bathroom door. I grabbed the towel to wipe my hands and the hook fell off the wall. Then Grandpa will have to fix Grandma's special bookcase downstairs. I wanted a different book for story time (it happens everynight before we sing and say our prayers) and Jaxson and I broke off the window door of her bookcase. It is a good thing that Grandpa knows how to fix things because there are lots of fixing jobs around this house. Oh, I forgot to tell you....Jaxson sat on Grandpa's train engine and broke it. He can't fix that so I guess he needs a new one for Christmas. He feels kind of sad so Grandma told him he could buy a Christmas train.
