Preschool Graduation May 12 2010

We went to Kade’s preschool graduation this morning.  The kids put on a little program, they recited their alphabet, read the at words, and sang some cute songs. 

Here is Kade getting his diploma.

When they were reciting as a group Kade only said a few things and the rest of the time just looked around but that is what he has done at all the other programs we have gone to so I expected it.  Each child got up in front of everyone to recite their favorite nursery rhyme.  I was worried he wouldn’t do it but I was very proud of him.  He got up there and did it just like we practiced, we had to work on smiling and going slow.  Unfortunately right when he got up there Jaxson decided to start crying so all you can hear on the video is Jax.  I had Kade recreate it when we got home.

On the way home I told him he only had one more day of preschool.  He is actually excited about going to kindergarten because we went to see his new school and it had a really fun park.  Now whenever we talk about going to kindergarten he starts talking about how he will get to play on that really fun park.

 

  Kade brought home this star his first day of preschool and we were supposed to decorate it with his favorite things so his class could get to know him.  It has been hanging above his locker for two years and we got to bring it home today.  He still loves all the same things except now his favorite color is green not red.
