My Little Helpers

Our tree was up for about 4 days before I got around to decorating it.  Kade was not so patient and did it himself.  He made hooks out of those flowers and hung them up.  He put any decoration he could find on it.  There’s a big candy cane, a snowman, and you can’t see it in the picture but there is a smaller Christmas tree stuck in the branches.  He thought he did a great job and I seriously considered just leaving it that way.

On this side he hung all the jingle bells he could find.  To his dismay Jaxson took them off just as quickly as he could get them on.

When we finally did decorate the tree Kade put everything on for me and I followed behind and “fixed it” for him.

Yes that is Yoda in the tree.  It is Kris’ contribution to decorating.

This snowman is the ornament Kade made at school last year.  As soon as I got it out of the box he remembered it.  He shows it to everyone that comes to the door.

So far Jaxson has left the Christmas tree alone.  Last year we woke up one morning and most of the decorations were on the bottom of our bed courtesy of Kade.

I made these jars this year.  I glued cinnamon sticks to the outside of a vase and filled it with M&M’s.  The other one I just put ribbon around and will eventually fill it full with candy canes.

Max won't stay out of my tree, "balls!"

You're nicer than me to allow Yoda... And you always have the cutest decorations!

I really wish you could come to cleveland and decorate my house for me!! You do such a great job. I forgot I loved the balls you have hanging from your light fixture. But mostly I CAN'T believe it's been a YEAR since I looked at those. Where does the time go!?!?!?
Looks great Mindy :)
