Jax

Jaxson is now 18 months old and he still doesn’t talk.  He points a lot and comes and taps you on the leg to get you to follow him.  If you don’t come he will tap you again and if you don’t come that time he starts screeching gibberish at you.  He points one finger in the air and says GAAA.  Kade thinks it is so funny and goes around all day copying him.  He says ma ma ma and da da da but not really in any context that makes it seem like he is talking to us.  He will say SSS for please but you can’t really tell that is what he is saying.  On Christmas night he finally said a full word.  He was playing on the roller coaster and we got him to say GO instead of GAAA.

Jaxson loves it when you clap for him.  He will stand there clapping for himself and look around the room to make sure everyone is clapping. 

His favorite show on TV is Super Why.  One night he was watching it and said O when they showed the letter O.  We kind of thought it was a fluke but when we were at my Aunt’s house he picked up a foam letter off the floor and said O.  Sure enough it was an O.  Then after Christmas I was reading him a book and he pointed to the O in yellow and said O.  The little stinker won’t talk but he knows the letter O.
