Random Kade

Here are some more of Kade’s more memorable adventures.

• We went to see Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D fully expecting Kade to refuse to wear the glasses.  He surprised us yet again and wore them the whole time.  He also wore them home and still pulls them out.

• We are getting our backyard done and the guy doing the sprinkler system was putting flags all over laying out his design.  When he left Kade wasn’t ready to go in but I was too hot lugging Jaxson around so I went in.  Not ten minutes later I went out to check on him.  I called for him and he came around the corner of the house with his arms completely full of flags.  He picked up every single one of them. 
• Kade keeps telling me that his eyes are silver.  I couldn’t figure out where he was getting this but after a few days I realized he meant hazel.
• Kade’s cousin Kody let him borrow a huge tub of toy dinosaurs for a few months.  It has provided hours of entertainment.  While I was in the shower he lined them all up so they were eating each others tails.

• One night I was getting ready for work and Kade kept telling me he wanted to go outside.  I kept telling him I was almost done and he had to wait for me.  I finished brushing my teeth and went to walk out the door and I couldn’t find Kade.  I went outside and he had gone down to the corner, crossed the street, and was in our neighbors garage with Copper.  We have child proof locks on the front and back door but he had opened the door to get in the garage, pushed the garage door opener button and proceeded to follow the dogs through the neighborhood.  
• One evening we were outside and Kade looked up at moon.  It was just a sliver and he said, “Mom is the moon my fingernail.”
• After I got braces Kade was looking at me and asked, “Did you get a necklace for your teeth.”  That is a nice way of putting it.
• Kade and Caitlynn went to Grandma and Grandpa’s for a week and while they were there they caused quite a bit of trouble together.  Kade loves flowers and the last time we were there he kept picked Grandma’s huge purple irises.  This time they were outside and when Grandma went to check on them they had been pulling all the petals off her roses.  She said you couldn’t even see the grass, it was completely covered in red petals.   They also have a compost tumbler and today when they were working in the garden they went to throw stuff in and it was full of bricks and rocks and dirt clods.  Kade and Caitlynn strike again.
• He calls this a Co Co Puff Waffle.

Oops.  They don’t stay in very well.

• Kade knows a lot about electronics.  He loves his dad’s Ipod and can run it better than I can.  He likes to play games and type letters on the computer.  One day I went to get on the internet and there was already a bunch of pictures on the screen on some little girl and a butterfly birthday cake.  I had no idea who it was but after checking it out it was from my facebook.  One of my friends had commented on the pictures from an album of one of their friends so it showed up on the side column.  Kade had clicked on them to see the birthday cake.  Later that afternoon Kris called and was telling me that there was a random post on his website.  He was freaking out because he thought someone had logged in to his account.  He even changed his password.  I said was it a picture of a butterfly cake.  He said did you see it on there.  (Yeah like I read his website.)  I told him that Kade had them up and must have posted them.  It is more than a few clicks to get in there and make a post but Kade did it.
