Another reason we went to Blanding was because it was Farm Days. Grandma’s friend Patty and her husband host the event for the kids in the area. All the schools come to their farm for this huge production. There are lots of different booths and activities to teach the kids about farming. They had a hayride, a booth to make butter (Grandma made 600 small loaves of bread for the kids to put their butter on), square dancing lessons, a beehive, a huge rock wall to climb, booths teaching them what we get from cows and pigs, you could watch a horse getting horse shoes put on, and USU even shipped down ice cream for everyone.
The kids got some cream in a jar to make their own butter. They shook it for a few minutes and then Dad and Grandma had to finish.
It sure was tasty on Grandma’s bread.
Patty was so sweet to give the kids each a shirt.
Kade had a favorite spot where we spent most of our time. They had baby animals that the kids got to hold. He was so soft with them and gave each one a kiss. I think he held every animal they had but the kitties were his favorites.
Jaxson also loved the animals. Caitlynn wasn’t a big fan.
Jaxson fell asleep on the hayride.
Once again back at the baby animals. Caitlynn got brave and touched a few this time. She was the most interested in the ice cream.
What a fun day at the farm.

So fun! I can't believe your mom made all that bread!!
Ahh, ya gotta love the small town events! They are so fun for kids! I love the Canyonland pics! We are always looking for fun (and free) places like that for the kids! They just love playing in the water and getting muddy! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
