4th of July Weekend 2010

We like going to the Grantsville parade.  It is pretty small but we only have to go 10 minutes before it starts and can find a good spot to stand and they throw a lot of candy.

DSC_0002 DSC_0014 We got so much candy that by the middle of the parade Kade didn’t want to pick it up anymore.  He told us that he had enough.

DSC_0036 DSC_0044 Jaxson liked the sirens. DSC_0046 Kade was waving trying to look sweet enough to get a frisbee.  It worked.DSC_0055 Herding Jaxson back out of the road.DSC_0060 DSC_0065 DSC_0069 After the parade we set up the swimming pool and sprinklers in the backyard while we waited for the fireworks.  Of course it took Kade awhile before he would have any fun.DSC_0006 DSC_0008 DSC_0011 DSC_0018 DSC_0026 DSC_0028 DSC_0030 DSC_0032 DSC_0037 DSC_0040 Jaxson actually stayed awake for the fireworks this year.  He kept saying wow and blue and pink.  He was done watching about halfway through and wanted to just play with the glow sticks but Kade and I enjoyed them all.

Monday we went to get the boys long overdue haircuts and then to a park.  I’m sure Jaxson was happy to get the hair out of his eyes maybe that is why he didn’t cry this time.

DSC_0005 DSC_0001 DSC_0003 DSC_0013 DSC_0017 DSC_0021 DSC_0023 It was pretty hot and Kade wouldn’t go potty in the port-a-potty at the park so we left and found nice cool Mcdonalds to play at the rest of the afternoon.
