My family has gone caterpillar hunting since I can remember. It is getting harder to find them now that our favorite spot has houses on it but we still manage to find a few each year.
Kade knows all about metamorphosis and Grandma comes and feeds it sugar water so he can see the butterfly tongue and he even calls it a proboscis.
Kade always steals the cup and drinks the sugar water.
This year when we let it go there wasn’t any crying. Last year Kade was so sad. He thought he had lost it and he cried and cried.

That is so funny about the couch...and don't forget spilling paint all over the floor and having to take him in an ambulance to the hospital because he ate every thing in site AND he would run from me every chance he got. Wow...the "terrific" twos are so much fun! My girls aren't nearly as crazy but he turned out pretty great!
Umm... I had to go back and relook at the post... Ihave no idea what Jenn's comment was about... :)
I remember reading last years post with Kade crying - I'm glad this year went over nicer. What a fun tradition!
Jenn's comment is about the comment I left on her blog. Remember when Austin stabbed her couch to pieces.
Your boys are adorable!! I'm so glad we've reconnected. Are you living in Utah? Let me know because I might be down there after Christmas for a wedding! I'd love to see you.
