The Shopping Cart

Kade loves shopping carts.  When he was younger he used to walk next to the cart and help push it every time we went shopping.  When we got to the car he would throw himself on the asphalt because he didn’t get to push it anymore.  One day we were in Pottery Barn Kids and they had a little shopping cart.  He pushed it around the store for a good hour and after a lot of convincing we talked Dad into getting him one.  We should have listened to dad.  I didn’t think about all the crashes that caused numerous dings and red paint streaks on the walls.  That was only the first of the troubles with the shopping cart.

Notice that he decided he just couldn’t get enough toys in the cart so he had to attach his magnet trains to the bottom.

Unfortunately he has now discovered that it is an even better transport device.  He now gets a load after load of toys and puts them all in one room.  He has decided he needs all his toys around him all at once.

He made several trips to empty out our coffee table and barely had room for himself on his bed.  You would think it was the end of the world if I try to put the toys away.
